MVT internal rotor ignition DD (Digital Direct) for Simson. Unlike other suppliers of internal rotor ignition systems, which are usually designed only for racing, the Spanish manufacturer MVT has integrated a light/charging coil. This means that this ignition system can completely replace the original ignition and provide power to the entire on-board electronics. The light internal rotor makes the bike much more agile, much better on the throttle and the idle speed is very stable. A light inner rotor is much better than the heavy original rotor in a 2-stroke engine and provides the best performance with absolute reliability and suitability for everyday use. The \"Digital Direct\" has a digital CDI with adaptive ignition timing and is therefore ideally suited for tuned engines where we mainly assign the Digital Direct variant of the MVT ignition for use in racing. The MVT ignition generates 42 kilovolts of ignition power from 8000 rpm and operates up to a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm with 2 sparks per revolution. The light output is specified with a measured 55W, which is a very good value for an internal rotor ignition given the small rotor/coils. An adjusted lighting system of the vehicle provides sufficient driving comfort and safety. Light output: 55W Ignition voltage: 42,000 volts at 8,000 rpm max. speed: 22,000 rpm.
